Report Card Info
District/School Report Cards
We're excited to announce the 2024 State School Report Cards for Districts are out. We are proud of the hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence our students and staff have put in helping to earn a "B" for both the Savanna Elementary and High School.

Celebrating Excellence: A Call for Past Achievements
We are beaming with pride as we celebrate our student body’s extraordinary accomplishments this year. It's an exhilarating time at Savanna High School with three different groups advancing to State Level for playoffs, Cheer, Cross Country, and Academic Team (Back-to-Back Trips)!

In recognition of these outstanding achievements, Cross County and Cheer recently had their banners hung proudly in our gym, commemorating our students' dedication and success with a new Academic Team banner soon to be ordered. However, we want to ensure we honor all those who have paved the way and achieved greatness in years past.

Recently, we’ve been made aware of two remarkable cheer teams from the past two decades who also reached this honorable distinction. But we know there may be more stories of triumph that haven't yet come to our attention.

This is where we need your help! If you know of any other teams or individuals who have reached the State Playoffs in previous years that have not had a banner displayed in recognition, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to our Principal, Angie Wilson, with any information on these past achievements. Your input will help us ensure that every deserving student and team is properly celebrated as we honor the legacy of excellence at Savanna Schools. Go Dawgs!

School Board Election
Upcoming School Board Elections
April 1st, 2025 will provide an opportunity for those living in the school district that are registered by March 7th to vote in the upcoming school board election. Candidates Kim Holt and Dustin Phillips are both vying for the seat previously held by Richard Hilburn. Mark you calendars and don't miss your chance to have your voice heard as your vote directly impacts decisions for the entire Bulldog Family.
Thursday Parent-Teacher Conferences, No School Friday or Monday
We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences, scheduled for this Thursday, February 13th, 2025, from 3:15 PM to 9:15 PM at Savanna High School. This event is an excellent opportunity for parents, teachers, and students to come together, discuss academic progress, and build strong partnerships to support our students' success.
Why Attend? Parent-Teacher Conferences are a vital part of your child's education. They provide a unique chance to:
  • Meet one-on-one with your child's teachers.
  • Discuss your child's strengths, areas for growth, and goals.
  • Learn about classroom activities and curricula.
  • Address any concerns or questions you may have.
Sign-In and Prizes: We encourage all parents and guardians to sign in upon arrival. Not only does this help us keep track of attendance, but it also enters you into our exciting prize draw! Several wonderful prizes will be up for grabs, so be sure to sign in for a chance to win.
No School on Friday: Please note that there will be no school on Friday, February 14th, 2025. As our dedicated staff will be staying late on Thursday to meet with all of you, we have decided to give our students a well-deserved day off on Friday.
Presidents' Day Holiday: In addition to the day off on Friday, we will also be observing Presidents' Day on Monday, February 17th, 2025. This means that there will be no school on that day as well. Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025.
We look forward to seeing you at the Parent-Teacher Conferences and appreciate your ongoing support and involvement in your child's education. Together, we can ensure that every student at Savanna Schools achieve their full potential.
