8th-12th Grade Summer STEM Camps (Science Technology Engineering Math)

Posted Date: 3/14/25 (10:00 PM)

Savanna 8th-12th Grade Students and Parents,
I always want to pass along information that may be of interest to the parents and students. This looks like it offers several possible ways students can get in-depth and hands-on learning opportunities to learn more about the academic subjects and the opportunities they are interested in pursuing. As a school district, I want us to always strive to be "Engaging Minds, Empowering Futures, Expecting Success".

Free STEM Summer Academies - Applications Open

This summer, middle and high school students can live on a college campus while exploring exciting fields of study at the free 2025 Summer Academies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

STEM  Summer Academies, sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, are open to upcoming eighth- through 12th-graders. Each academy explores the latest STEM trends through fun, hands-on activities and innovative software as students experiment both in the classroom and outdoors.

The 2025 academies will be offered by 14 Oklahoma colleges and universities in June, July and August. The 17 unique academies will be offered statewide and most last from four days to two weeks. Some academies require students to live in the campus residence halls, while others require that students travel to and from campus each day. This year, there are seven residential academies and 10 unique commuter academies.

Applications are now being accepted for the academies.

Academy descriptions and contact information are available in the button below. Students can also get information by calling 800.858.1840.
